We saw this collared lizard while we were out in Chaco NHP, New Mexico. We were up on the mesa exploring Pueblo Alto and New Alto and also during that time found some 900+ year old pottery shards. We left them where they were due to the prison time if you are found with them, and besides, other people might want to see them.
