While in Death Valley NP we took a short off road detour to this overlook. It was extremely windy that day and made it feel like someone was aiming a blow dryer at your face. If you look carefully you can see the winding road that descends in to the salt valley. We received a good tip to head in to the park this way from where we had our oil changed in Ridgecrest. This was more scenic than ways we had approached the park in the past.
